William Edwin "Sneezy" Snyder Jr. Obituary (1936

William Edwin "Sneezy" Snyder Jr., 84, of Butler, PA, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at The Grove at Harmony. He was born September 1, 1936, to the late William Edwin Snyder and Grace Estella (Jordan) Snyder. William graduated from Butler High School on June 7, 1956. He worked for United Telephone Company (now Century Link) for 38 years and retired in 1998. William was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the West Sunbury American Legion Post 243. William was also a past President of the Sunset Riders. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and cards. William is survived by his two sons, William E. Snyder III of West Sunbury, PA and Robert K. Snyder and wife Jean of Butler, PA; his daughter, Pamela S. Snyder of Butler, PA and two grandchildren, Brent W. Snyder and Chad B. Snyder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis G. Snyder and his daughter-in-law, Judi A. Snyder. There will be no public viewing and a private burial will take place in the Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in William's honor to the West Sunbury American Legion Post 243, 1431 West Sunbury Road, West Sunbury, PA 16061.
