William \nEdwin "Sneezy" Snyder Jr., 84, of Butler, PA, passed \naway on Friday, December 18, 2020 at The Grove at \nHarmony. \n\nHe was born September 1, 1936, to the late William \nEdwin Snyder and Grace Estella (Jordan) Snyder. \n\nWilliam graduated from Butler High School on June 7, \n1956.\n\nHe worked for United Telephone Company (now Century \nLink) for 38 years and retired in 1998.\n\nWilliam was a veteran of the US Army.\n\nHe was a member of the West Sunbury American Legion \nPost 243. William was also a past President of the \nSunset Riders. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing \npool and cards. \n\nWilliam is survived by his two sons, William E. \nSnyder III of West Sunbury, PA and Robert K. Snyder \nand wife Jean of Butler, PA; his daughter, Pamela \nS. Snyder of Butler, PA and two grandchildren, Brent W. \nSnyder and Chad B. Snyder.\n\nIn addition to his parents he was preceded in death \nby his brother, Dennis G. Snyder and his \ndaughter-in-law, Judi A. Snyder.\n\nThere will be no public viewing and a private burial \nwill take place in the Rose Hill Cemetery.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in \nWilliam's honor to the West Sunbury American Legion \nPost 243, 1431 West Sunbury Road, West Sunbury, PA \n16061.
