William \n"Bill" O'Donnell, 83, of Butler, Pennsylvania, \npassed away on November 28, 2022, at the Good \nSamaritan Hospice at Concordia. \n\nHe was born March 22, 1939, in Butler, Pennsylvania \nto the late William O'Donnell and the late Helena \nNeff O'Donnell. \n\nBill graduated from Butler High School. He served \nhis country honorably in the U.S Air Force. Bill \nretired from Heckett Multi-Serve. He was a member of \nFirst United Methodist Church in Butler. Bill \nenjoyed golfing and he was an avid Pittsburgh Sports \nFan. He especially loved spending time with his \ngrandkids.\n\nBill is survived by his two sons, Randall (Karen) \nO'Donnell of Medina, OH, Kevin O'Donnell of \nClermont, FL; eight grandchildren, Kaley, Rachel, \nWaylon, Brisco (Lindsey), Elle, Rafe, Theo, and Tess \nO'Donnell; two sisters, Anna Marie Magill of \nFairfax, VA, Margaret Steiner of Chicora, PA; and \nseveral nieces and nephews. \n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby wife, Glenda Heist O'Donnell, who he married on \nSeptember 4, 1960, and who passed away February 6, \n2019; three brothers, Lewis, Harry, and Floyd \nO'Donnell; one sister, Rose Filges; and two infant \nchildren.\n\nFriends will be received Thursday, December 1, 2022, \nfrom 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 \np.m. at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 \nEast North Street Butler, PA.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Friday, December 2, \n2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist \nChurch, 200 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001 with \nPastor David Janz, officiating.\n\nBurial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial \nEstates.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nto United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), \nPhilanthropy Department, 700 North 4th Street, \nRichmond VA 23219 or First United Methodist Church, \n200 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
