Wayne \nWalliser, 75 of Butler passed away on Thursday, \nMarch 28, 2019 in Sunnyview Nursing and \nRehabilitation Center, Butler. \n\nHe was born in Bellevue to the late Leonard C. and \nEdythe (Kitzman) Walliser. \nHe worked \nfor AK Steel in Butler retiring in 2003. Wayne \nmarried his wife of 52 years Judith Wick Walliser on \nDecember 23, 1966. \n\nWayne was a 1962 graduate of North Hills High \nSchool, he then attended IUP graduating with a \ndegree in music education. He was known for singing \nwith the Notables Barber Shop Chorus also playing \npiano and the organ. He was the past exalted ruler \nof the Butler Elks 170. Being a proud Eagle Scout \nand being awarded the God and Country award, he also \nwas the former assistant scout master of Boy Scout \nTroup 16.\n\nBesides his wife Judy, Wayne is survived by his two \nSons Christopher and Charles Walliser both of \nButler. One sister, Judith Stack of Florida; one \nSister-in-Law Nancy Wick and her husband Maurice \nWarner. \n \nBesides his \nparents, Wayne is preceded in death by one sister \nJanice Lappe.\n\nEveryone is invited to a Celebration of Wayne's life \non April 7, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Butler Elks, \n80 Kaufman Drive, Butler PA 16001. \n\nServices have been entrusted to the care of the \nThompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North \nStreet, Butler PA, 16001.
