Shirley "GG" \nJones Matuke, 81, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed \naway on August 16, 2021 at her residence. \n\nShe was born August 31, 1939 in Coshocton, Ohio to \nthe late Edward Jones and the late Dorothy \n(Stevenson) Jones. \n\nShirley was a graduate of Butler High School. She \nworked as a secretary for Butler Stamping, and \nOsterling Sandblasting. Shirley enjoyed bingo and \nreading. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran \nChurch. \n\nShe is survived by one daughter, Sheri Davidson of \nButler, PA; one granddaughter, Taylor Davidson, five \ngreat grandchildren, Lexi, Fallon, Jimmy, Annabelle \nand Lilly; two step daughters, Julie Lumpkin, and \nMichele Slupe; one step son, Al Matuke; five step \ngrandchildren, Ashley, William, Gretchen, Erika and \nJennifer; five nieces, Lori, Debbie, Dawn, Diana and \nDarcey; two nephews, Doug and Matthew and Uncle Jon \nDoutt. \n\nIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in \ndeath by her husband George Matuke, granddaughter, \nLindsay Selfridge, two sisters, Gertrude Brewster, \nand Marilynn Bodesheim.\n\nA Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, \nSeptember 23, 2021 at 10:30 am at Thompson-Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc, 124 East North Street, Butler, PA \nwith Pastor Joel A. Benson, officiating.\n\nBurial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial \nEstates.
