Sheila \nSmith, age 69, passed away peacefully May 12, 2019, \nafter a long and courageous battle with multiple \nsclerosis.\nShe was \nborn on Sept. 14, 1949, in Butler, Pa. to the late \nKathleen and William Cress.\nShe was \nhappily married for 45 years to her devoted husband \nWayne Smith.\nSheila grew \nup in Connoquenessing, Pa., graduating from Butler \nHigh School. Following her graduation, she held a \nnumber of career positions but gladly relinquished \nher work life to become a loving and compassionate \nwife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her \nchildren and grandchildren, especially loving her \nrole as "Grammy." She had a vivacious personality \nwith a passion for sewing, crafting and all things \nfashion.\nSheila is \nsurvived by her husband, Wayne, and three daughters: \nBritta Manges (Brad) of Valencia, Pa.; Marissa \nColeridge (Brian) of Chesterland, Ohio; and Keira \nKoscumb (Steve) of Oakmont, Pa. She is also survived \nby one brother and one sister. Sheila was the proud \ngrandmother of Kinley, Reed and Haven. \n\nA \ncelebration of Sheila's life will be held at \nIntersection Community Church, 120 Walker Avenue, \nButler, Pa. on Saturday, May 25, 2019, beginning at \n11 a.m. with Pastor Fred Kison, officiating. \n\nIn lieu of \nflowers, donations to the St. Jude Children's \nResearch Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, \nTN 38105 are welcome.
