Ruth I. \nBeatty Lugibihl, 94, of Cabot passed away February \n3, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.\n\nShe was born February 4, 1926 in Indiana, PA and was \nthe daughter of the late Reed I. and Florence (Minser) \nBeatty.\n\nRuth was a graduate of Indiana High School, Indiana, \nPA. She was employed at Bortmas Butler Florist for \nmany years. Ruth loved cross-stitch, knitting, and \nsewing.\n\nRuth is survived by her loving family: Jeanne Beatty \nof Butler, PA, Richard P. (Susan) Beatty of Cabot, \nPA, Marsha Collins of Butler, PA, Ronald K. Beatty \nof Richmond, VA. Also, the families of Andrew and \nLinda Petro of Waterloo, South Carolina; 11 \ngrandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her first husband, \nWilliam R. Beatty, and her second husband, Meridith \nE. Lugibihl; her three sisters, Helen Shanor, Mary \nJoan Offutt, and Doris Pearson, and her son-in-law \nTerry Collins who passed away on November 15, 2020.\n\nA special thank you to her caregivers Jane, \nCharlene, Barbara, and Good Samaritan Hospice Nurses \nfor their care.\n\nA private service and burial will be at Butler \nCounty Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum.\n\nMemorial contributions may be given to Concordia \nPrivate Care, 316 North Pike, Suite A, Cabot, PA \n16023 or Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, \nCabot, PA 16023. \n\nArrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, \nPA 16001.
