Robert \nWilliam Steighner- Bob "The Tile Guy" 61, of \nSaxonburg passed away peacefully surrounded by his \nloved ones on February 1, 2019.\n\nHe was born April 29, 1957 in Butler, PA to Paul and \nDorothy Steighner. \n\nBob graduated from Knoch High School in 1975. He \npossessed a contagious smile and an entertaining \nsense of humor and was known for making those around \nhim laugh.\nHe was a self-employed tile contractor working \nmostly with Kaclik Builders. Bob enjoyed hunting, \nspending time with family and friends, vacationing, \nspending his Friday nights at "the country club", \nand taking his best paw friend, Crosby, for car \nrides. He was a member of Summit Presbyterian \nChurch. \n\nHe is survived by his loving wife of 39 wonderful \nand adventurous years Luanne Steighner whom he \nmarried on May 19, 1979; two sons Mike (Nikki) and \nEric (Maggie) Steighner; parents Paul and Dorothy \nSteighner of Saxonburg; one brother Dan (Tammy) \nSteighner of Butler; one sister Kim Steighner of \nSaxonburg; sister-in-laws, Debbie (Tom) Lingenfelter \nof Saxonburg, Pam Smith of Saxonburg, and Laura \n(Mark) Fillmore of Danielson, Connecticut. He is \nalso survived by special nieces, nephews, and great \nnieces. \n\nThe family would like to thank all their friends for \nthe love and support; The medical team at Butler \nMemorial Hospital, Concordia Visiting Nurses, and \nGood Samaritan Hospice. \n\nFriends and family will be received on Tuesday, \nFebruary 5, 2019 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at \nThompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc, 124 East North \nStreet, Butler, PA 16001.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Wednesday, February \n6, 2019 at 11:00 am at Summit Presbyterian Church, \n181 Caldwell Drive, Butler, PA with Pastor Tom \nJones, officiating.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the \nCOPD Foundation, Donation Headquaters, 3300 Ponce de \nLeon Blvd., Miami, FL 33134 or to Hunters Sharing \nthe Harvest, 6780 Hickory Lane, Harrisburg, PA \n17112.
