Robert J. \nSmith, 47, of Petrolia, PA, passed away at his home \non Monday, November 7, 2022.\n\nBorn May 23, 1975, in Iowa City, IA, he was the son \nof the late Herbert and Donna (Baker) Smith.\n\nRob was a 1994 graduate of Sto-Rox High School where \nhe played football. He went on to work for Sam's \nClub in their Tire Dept. and drove truck for \nAltman's. Rob had a great sense of humor and was \nknown for playing practical jokes all of the time. \nHe enjoyed watching football, and was a big fan of \nthe Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. Rob dearly loved \nhis family and was kind to everyone he met. \n\nRob is survived by three brothers, Tom (Lisa) Baker \nof Pittsburgh, Andrew (Cindy) Smith of Bettendorf, \nIA and Ronald (Tiffany) Smith of Petrolia and two \nsisters, Sharon (Troy) Moore of Eau Claire and \nVeronica (Tom) Czepiel of Petrolia, several nieces \nand nephews and great nieces and great nephews.\n\nThe family would like to extend a heart-felt thank \nyou to Gavin Czepiel for all of the love and care he \nprovided to Rob over the years.\n\nIn addition to his parents, Rob was preceded in \ndeath by his brother Jack R. Smith who passed away \non September 1, 2004\n\nAll are invited to attend a memorial service for Rob \non Friday, November 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the \nThompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North \nSt., Butler, PA 16001, with Ray Benninghoff, \nofficiating.
