Richard L. “Rick” Eisenhuth, 72, of Butler, PA, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2023 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries of Cabot.\n\nBorn in Butler on July 22, 1951, he was the son of the late Richard E. “Dick” and Patricia J. “Pat” (Crawford) Eisenhuth.\n\nA 1969 graduate of Butler High School, Rick was employed by Heckett Multiserv where he retired in 2011, after 36 years of service.\n\nHe was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Butler.\n\nA longtime member of Happy Hunters and Oneida Bowhunters, he was an avid bow hunter and looked forward to archery season every year. Both clubs provided him with friendships and a place to practice the sport he loved.\n\nRick enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, going for scenic road trips, and weekend canoe trips. An incredible handyman, he was especially happy to help his family and friends with projects of any kind.\n\nAbove all, Rick was a devoted Christian and loved his wife and family.\n\nHe is survived by his wife, Patricia Eisenhuth, whom he married September 2, 1972, his two sons, Eric Eisenhuth and his wife, Jodie of Butler, and Corey Eisenhuth and his wife, Maggie of Butler, one daughter, Lauren Parker and her husband, Ryan of Valencia; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Chase, Marley and Coda Eisenhuth and Freda, Jack, and Ruth Parker; one brother, Dan Eisenhuth and his wife, Joni, of Mars, PA; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.\n\nFamily and friends will be received on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.in Thompson Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.\n\nThe funeral will be celebrated on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001 with Rev. Jonathan Fehl of Cabot Church of Cabot, PA, officiating. \n\nA private burial will take place in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.\n\nAll who know Rick are encouraged to share memories and upload pictures to his unique remembrance page.
