Ralph \nEdward Cooper, 82, of Renfrew, Pennsylvania, passed \naway on August 23, 2021, at the Butler Memorial \nHospital. \n\nHe was born June 26, 1939, in Butler, Pennsylvania \nto the late Lewis Leroy Cooper and the late Edna \nMarie Young Cooper. \n\nRalph was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked \nas a Rigger for Armco Steel for 36 years, retiring \nin 1998. Ralph was a member of # 769 William H. \nMiller Lodge F and A M, A.A.S.R. (Ancient and \nAccepted Scottish Rite) Valley of New Castle, Syria \nTemple of Pittsburgh, and Caravan 14 of Butler. He \nwas also a member of the Meridian Veterans Club and \nserved as Past Commander of Meridian Veterans Club; \nDucks Unlimited and served as a Past State Youth \nChairman of Ducks Unlimited. Ralph was a member and \nTrustee of Unionville Evangelical Presbyterian \nChurch. He was a life member of the Butler City \nHunting and Fishermen's Club. Ralph was an avid \ngolfer, hunter, and fisherman. He loved to travel.\n\nRalph is survived by his wife, Sally Jean Cooper, \nwho he married on September 2, 1961; three sisters, \nJanet M. (Edgar) McGee of Zelienople, PA, Judith A. \nBodnar of Penn Hills, PA, Jeannie E. (J. Donald) \nGamble of Renfrew, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.\n\n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby an infant brother, Lewis L. Cooper; two nephews, \nJohn Gamble, and Rob Fredley.\n\nThere will be no public visitation.\n\nPrivate Funeral services will be held at the \nconvenience of the family.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nto Unionville Evangelical Presbyterian Church 1114 \nSunset Dr. Butler, PA 16001.
