Rafael G. "Ray" Velazquez Obituary (1942 - 2022)

Rafael G. "Ray" Velazquez, 80, of Worthington, PA, passed away on November 20, 2022, at the Personal Care House. He was born November 13, 1942, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Elviro Velazquez and the late Bella Erazo. Ray worked for Heasley Nursery. He enjoyed going bowling, boating, and fishing. Ray is survived by his sister, Josefina Velazquez of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and her children; one sister-in-law, Deborah Bender of Butler, PA; two brothers-in-law, Donald Bender, William McLaughlin; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth K. Huselton Velazquez, who he married on September 29, 1973. There will be no public visitation or public services.
