Pauline W. \n"Polly" Bachman, 90 of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed \naway on October 2, 2020 at Butler Memorial Hospital.\n\n\nShe was born May 2, 1930 in Perrysville, PA in \nAllegheny County, to the late Floyd V. Winner and \nPauline (Nixon) Winner. \n\nAfter graduating from high school, she went on to \nThiel College where she received her Bachelor of \nEducation. Mrs. Bachman worked for the Allegheny and \nDelaware Counties as a school teacher for three \nyears. She volunteered at Connoquenessing Meals on \nWheels and a longtime secretary for the Franklin \nTownship Planning Commission. Mrs. Bachman served on \nchurch council, as well as an usher, lector and a \nformer Sunday school teacher at Trinity Lutheran \nChurch.\n\nShe is survived by her husband Dr. Gordon S Bachman \nwhom she married on August 20, 1954; one son, Scott \nBachman and his wife Margaret of Smithfield, VA; one \ndaughter, Pamela Weaver and her husband Todd of \nKeene, NH; five grandchildren, Stephen Weaver, Katie \n(Caitlin) Weaver, Audrey Bachman, Samuel Bachman, \nand Danner Bachman. \n\nAccording to her wishes there will be no public \nvisitation.\n\nA Private service was held at the Trinity Lutheran \nChurch, 120 Sunset Dr. Butler, PA, with Pastor Joel \nBenson, officiating.\n\nPrivate entombment took place at Chapel of all \nFaiths Mausoleum at Greenlawn Burial Estates.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nto Trinity Memorial Fund, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler, \nPA 16001.
