Paul K. \nWolfe, 96, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away \npeacefully with his family by his side on October \n20, 2022 at Concordia at the Orchard. \n\nHe was born May 25, 1926 in Adrian, Pennsylvania to \nthe late Kenneth Wolfe and the late Allene Toy \nWolfe. \n\nPaul lost his parents at a young age. He was raised \nby his grandmother, many aunts, uncles and cousins. \nPaul was a graduate of Kittanning High School. He \nwas a Veteran of World War II serving in the \nArmy/Air Corp. Paul worked as an agent and sales \nmanager with Prudential Insurance Company for 34 \nyears before retiring in 1984. He was a member of \nNorth Main Street Church of God, the Board of \nDirectors, the church choir, and served as an usher \nwhich he truly enjoyed. Paul was past president of \nPittsburgh Life Underwriters, and an instructor for \nthe Russ Financial Schools. He was a lifetime member \nof the Hilltop Beagle Club. Paul enjoyed hunting and \nplaying golf with his many friends. He enjoyed \nplaying his guitar.\n\nHe is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Cliff) Diehl \nof Butler, PA, and Susan (Lew) Liparulo of Butler, \nPA; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeff) Mueller, \nJeffrey Diehl, Timothy (Brooke) Liparulo, Loren \n(Jesse) Mottern, and Todd Liparulo; ten great \ngrandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Katie, Taylor, Dylan, \nCole, Shane, Preston, Malcolm, and Duncan; four \nnephews, Douglas Thomas, David Thomas, Kevin Grover, \nand Mark Grover, and a cousin, Peggy Pollock of \nSouthgate, Michigan who he was raised with.\n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby his wife, Betty J. Wolfe who passed away on June \n3, 2017, one brother George Wolfe and two sisters, \nMinerva Thomas and Dorothy Grover.\n\nFriends will be received Monday, October 24, 2022, \nfrom 10:00 am - 12:00 (noon) at Thompson - Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, \nPA. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 (noon) with \nRev. Gordon Powell, officiating.\n\nPrivate burial will take place in the Greenlawn \nBurial Estates. \n\nIn lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial \ndonations be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries, \n134 Marwood Way, Cabot, PA 16023 or to North Main \nStreet Church of God, 1201 North Main Street Ext., \nButler, PA 16001.
