Patrick W. McClellan, 72, of \nButler, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 6, \n2021, at the Butler Memorial Hospital. \n\nHe was born July 1, 1949, in Kane, Pennsylvania to \nthe late Hugh McClellan and the late Blanche Spiers \nMcClellan.\n\nPat was a member of Victory Family Church in \nCranberry Twp. He worked as an Industrial Engineer \nfor Armco/AK Steel in Butler for 45 years. Pat \nplayed basketball and baseball at the University of \nPittsburgh where he received his Engineering Degree. \nHe coached baseball, football, softball, BC3 Girls \nBasketball and Butler Boys Basketball for many \nyears. He was a PIAA basketball and football \nofficial. Pat enjoyed traveling and playing with his \ncurrent softball team the Steel City Dawgs. He also \nenjoyed playing games with family, building puzzles, \npickle ball, cards, traveling, outdoors, golfing and \nspending time in Hilton Head.\n\nPat is survived by his wife, Diane (Shields) \nMcClellan, who he married on June 3, 1972; three \nsons, Rich (Becky) McClellan of Dillsburg, PA, Ryan \n(Kim) McClellan of Butler, PA, Rob (Kim) McClellan \nof Butler, PA; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Jim \n(Annie) McClellan of Marienville, PA; and one \nsister, Jane McClellan of Marienville, PA. \n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby one brother, Hugh Michael McClellan.\n\nFriends will be received Saturday, November 13, \n2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at \nThompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North \nStreet Butler, PA.\n\nA Celebration of Life Service will be held at a \nfuture date at the convenience of the family.
