Nancy J. Swain, 68, of \nButler, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 9, 2019 \nat the Allegheny General Hospital. \n\nShe was born June 25, 1950 in Butler, Pennsylvania \nto the late Henry Panei and the late Bessie McCanna \nPanei. \n\nNancy graduated from Butler Area Senior High in \n1968. She worked as a Nursing Assistant for Butler \nMemorial Hospital. \n\nNancy is survived by two sons, Matthew (Becky) Swain \nof East Butler, PA, Mark (Lorena Dejesus) Swain of \nButler, PA; five grandchildren, Nevaeh Swain, Morgan \nSwain, Nathan Swain, Carter Swain, Nick DeJesus; two \nbrothers, Fred Panei of Butler, PA, Dan Panei of \nButler, PA; two sisters, Linda Hinchberger of \nButler, PA, Michele Skarada of Altoona, PA; four \nnieces; four nephews; five great-nieces and four \ngreat-nephews. \n\nIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in \ndeath by her husband, Alvin L. Swain, who passed \naway on April 29, 2016 and one niece, Melissa Panei.\n\nFriends will be received Saturday, March 16 from \n10:00 am until time of Memorial Service at Noon at \nThompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North \nStreet Butler, PA. with Reverend Rob Gillgrist, \nofficiating.\n\nPrivate burial will take place at a later date.
