Michele Ann \nZinn, 83, of Bokeelia, FL passed away on December \n14, 2021. \n\nShe was born April 23, 1938, in Mercer, Pennsylvania \nto the late Carl Gallagher and the late Ruth Marsh \nGallagher. \n\nMichele graduated from Slippery Rock High School in \n1956, then went to Muskingum College in New Concord, \nOH, then to then Slippery Rock University to receive \na masters degree in teaching. She taught Home \nEconomics at Slippery Rock School District and \nButler Area School District at the Junior High. \nMichele enjoyed sewing, quilting, and scrap booking. \nShe was skilled in navigation and co-owned Jericho \nBay Sight Seeing Service in Maine, and was a \ncaptain. Michele traveled extensively on the great \nloop, and also from Canada to Florida on the \nAtlantic Ocean and Intra Coastal waterway and was \nvery knowledgeable of the history of the areas \ntraveled. She was a member Saint Andrew Lutheran \nChurch in Ellsworth Maine and attended Fishers of \nMen Lutheran Church in Pine Island, FL.\n\nMichele is survived by her husband, Dave E. Zinn, \nwho she married August 2, 1961; two sons, Shane \n(Denise) Zinn of Prospect, PA, Brett Zinn of Butler, \nPA; two grandchildren, Chase Zinn, and Cole (Michenzie) \nZinn. \n\nFriends will be received Wednesday, December 22, \n2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at \nThompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North \nStreet Butler, PA.Funeral service will immediately \nfollow at 8:00 pm with Pastor Joel Benson, \nofficiating. \n\nEntombment will take place at the Chapel of All \nFaiths Mausoleum at Greenlawn Burial Estates.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nto St. Judes Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, \nMemphis, TN 38105, Butler Meals on Wheels, 218 E \nJefferson St, Butler, PA 16001, St, Andrew Lutheran \nChurch, 175 Downeast Highway, Ellsworth, Maine \n04605, and Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Dr, \nButler, PA 16001.
