Mary J. Livengood, \n88, of Butler, formerly of Ford City \nPennsylvania, passed away on July 13, \n2019 at the Sunnyview Nursing and \nRehabilitation Center, Butler, PA. \nMary was born July 21, 1930 in Adrian, \nPennsylvania to the late Vernon B. \nHileman and Helen P. (Tarr) Hileman. \nMary worked as a Accountant for Hoffman \nAuto Parts and also at her husband's \nautomotive repair shop. Mary was the former President of the \nButler School Board, she was also a \nmember of the BUCO Travel club, was \ninvolved in the Fellowship Group at \nChrist Community U.M.C. and the YWCA. \nShe enjoyed any kind of crafts, \ntraveling and helping Cheryl at the \nfarm.Mary is survived by her sister, Merideth \nBeiter of Hermitage, PA and friends; \nSandra (Lawrence) Mato of Butler, PA, \nKim (Kevin) Bailey, Mercer, PA and Kim \n(Eric) Lawrence, Mercer, PA. also \nnumerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was \npreceded in death by her husband, Robert \nM. Livengood whom she married on July 3, \n1947 , and her daughter, Cheryl J. \nLivengood.There will be no public visitation.\nFamily and friends are invited to a \nfuneral service to be held at Christ \nCommunity U.M.C., 205 North Duffy Road, \nButler, PA 16001, on Friday, July 19, \n2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Anette \nGerber, officiating.Burial will be in the Ford City \nCemetery, Ford City, PA.Memorial contributions may be made in \nMary's memory to the Christ Community \nUnited Methodist Church, 205 North Duffy \nRoad, Butler, PA 16001 or to the Charity \nof Donor's choice.
