Mary Lou Davis, 90, of Butler, \nPennsylvania, passed away on December 26, 2021, at \nthe Concordia Lutheran Ministries. \n\nShe was born April 4, 1931, in Butler, Pennsylvania \nto the late James Fend and the late Emily Cottrill \nFend.\n\nMary Lou graduated from Butler High School in 1949. \nShe worked as a Teachers Aide at the Midwestern \nIntermediate Unit IV. Mary Lou was the secretary for \nthe family business (Davis Well Drilling). She was a \nmember of Oak Hill Christian Church and enjoyed \ngoing to church. Mary Lou enjoyed cooking, baking, \nmusical theatre, going on bus trips, watching \nwildlife and nature. She took pride in decorating \nand maintaining her home. As a resident of Concordia \nat the Orchard for the past 3 years, Mary Lou \nenjoyed attending activities with new friends. Above \nall else, she enjoyed spending time with her family.\n\nMary Lou is survived by her three sons, Richard \nDavis of Butler, PA, Dennis (Debbie) Davis of \nButler, PA, John (Kim) Davis of Kittanning, PA; one \ndaughter, Beverly Davis of Butler, PA; six \ngrandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one \nsister, Thelda Geibel of Butler, PA; and many nieces \nand nephews. \n\nIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in \ndeath by her husband, John Davis, who she married on \nOctober 14, 1950 and who passed away March 3, 2016; \nseven brothers; and three sisters.\n\nFriends will be received Wednesday, December 29, \n2021, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Thompson - Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA \nwith a service immediately following at 1:00 pm with \nRev. Charles Powell, officiating. \n\nBurial will take place in the Butler County Memorial \nPark.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be \nmade to Oak Hill Christian Church, 100 Township \nLane, Butler, PA 16002.
