Marlene J. Winters, 83, of \nButler, PA, passed away on January 28, 2021 at the \nButler Memorial Hospital.\n\nShe was born in Euclid, PA on October 14, 1937 to \nthe late Harold E. Beachem and the late Muren J. \nMinich Beachem.\n\nMarlene worked as an elementary school teacher for \nButler Area School District for over 30 years. She \nwas a lifetime member and valued volunteer at North \nStreet Christian Church. Marlene enjoyed shopping, \neating out, reading and spending time with family \nand friends.\n\nMarlene is survived by her son, Grant (Cyndee) \nWinters of Mars, PA; her daughter, Tracy Collins of \nButler, PA; six grandchildren; two great \ngrandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Beatty of Butler, \nPA and a number of nieces and nephews.\n\nIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in \ndeath by her husband, Donald Winters, who she \nmarried on December 20, 1958, and who passed away on \nJune 11, 2018; and one brother, Eugene Beachem.\n\nMemorial services will be held on Saturday, February \n6, 2021, at the North Street Christian Church, 220 \nWest North Street Butler, PA, with Pastor Jeff \nMiller of Harvest Bible Chapel, and Pastor Jake Klutinoty of North St. Christian Church, \nofficiating. Visitation with the family begins at \n10:30 a.m. Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m.\n\nDon and Marlene will be placed in the North Side \nCemetery.\n\nMemorials are suggested to Life Choices, 118 South \nChurch St., Butler, PA 16001.\n\nArrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, \nPA 16001.
