Mark "Marky Sharky" Fike Obituary (2007

Mark "Marky Sharky" Fike, 11, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 14, 2019 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born December 23, 2007 in Butler, Pennsylvania to Ethan Fike and Margaret Kean Fike. Mark was a 4th grader at Summit Elementary. He was a member of Cub Scouts Troop #29 and of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mark loved animals of all types, but his "specialty" was bugs and he could catch them all, He also enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers, Ryan and Emmett Fike; one sister, Lyssa Fike; maternal grandmother, Stephanie Kean; paternal grandparents, Jody and Donna Fike of Belvidere, TN; paternal great-grandparents, Fred and Peggy Fike of Economy Boro, PA, and Karl and Marjorie Hook of Bountiful, UT; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ernest Kean. Friends will be received Thursday, January 17, 2019, 4 - 9 pm at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 11 am - 2 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 365 Sawmill Run Road Butler, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 2 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Rick Barnett, officiating.
