Linda L. Wensel Mealy, 73, \nof Meridian, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, \nunder the care of Quality Life Services-Sugarcreek, \nin Worthington, PA. \n\nBorn July 1, 1949 in Kittanning, PA, Linda was the \ndaughter of the late William and Martha (Ball) \nWensel.\n\nLinda was a 1967 graduate of Shannock Valley High \nSchool and went on to attend Butler Beauty School. \nShe owned and operated Linda Wensel's Beauty Shop \nfor 29 years, and then worked for St. John's \nSpecialty Care Center in Mars for 11 years. Linda was Methodist by faith. She \nenjoyed camping at Plantation Park in Mercer Co., \nswimming and was an avid Steeler fan. \n\nLinda is survived by her husband of 43 years, \nRichard Mealy, whom she married on April 14, 1979.\n\n\nIn addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in \ndeath by her two sisters: Peggy and Darlene Wensel.\n\nAll are invited to attend a visitation for Linda on \nTuesday, October 11, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at \nThompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc, 124 E. North St., \nButler, PA 16001. A funeral service will be held at \nthe funeral home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at \n11:00 AM with Pastor David Janz of First United \nMethodist Church in Butler officiating.\n\nInterment will be made at Butler County Memorial \nPark.
