Kenneth Merle Gould, 78, of \nButler, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 16, 2019 \nafter a three year battle with cancer. \n\nHe was born December 17, 1940 in Butler, \nPennsylvania to the late Thomas Merle Gould and the \nlate Dorothy Miller Gould. \n\nKen worked as a Shipping Coordinator for Armco/AK \nSteel. After retiring in 2001, he worked at Krendale \nGolf Course. Throughout the years, Ken served on \nvarious committees at Community Alliance Church and \nsang in the church choir. Ken enjoyed boating, \nfishing, and golfing. He liked spending his winters \nin Bradenton, Florida. Ken was in U.S. Army Reserves \nduring the Vietnam War.\n\nKen is survived by his wife, Lou Ann McKinnis Gould, \nwho he married on May 18, 1963; two sons, Brian S. \nGould of Meridian, PA, Kevin A Gould of \nStrattanville, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Jeanne \nand Randy Wilkerson of Columbus, OH; and one nephew, \nMark Menrath of Gunnison, CO. \n\nFriends will be received Monday, August 19, 2019, \n2:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at the \nCommunity Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Rd., Butler, \nPA 16001 with Pastor Joe Floris, officiating.\n\nA private burial will take place in the Butler \nCounty Memorial Park.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nto Pine Valley Camp, 504 Chapel Drive, Ellwood City, \nPA 16117.\n\nArrangements were handled by Thompson - Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North St., Butler, PA \n16001.
