Katherine \n"Kay" Barron, 97, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed \naway on November 2, 2020 at the Sunnyview Nursing \nand Rehabilitation Center. \n\nShe was born March 2, 1923 in Pittsburgh, \nPennsylvania to the late Michael Kotula and the late \nMary Danlyk Kotula. \n\nKatherine worked as a Book Keeper. She was a member \nof St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler. Katherine \nenjoyed sewing, many crafts and line dancing.\n\nSurviving are her sons William Barron, Jr of Butler, \nPA and Michael (Amy) Barron of Atlanta,GA; one \ngranddaughter and her husband Sydney (Adam) \nJosephson of Atlanta, GA; and a great granddaughter, \nJeri Josephson of Atlanta, GA; a brother, John \n(Dawn) Kotula of Kittanning, PA; also numerous \nnieces and nephews.\n\nIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in \ndeath by her husband, William F. Barron, Sr., who \nshe married on April 25, 1942 and who passed away on \nDecember 18, 1988; one brother, Michael Kotula; and \ntwo sisters, Mary Kotula, and Stella Mariano.\n\nFriends will be received Monday, November 9, 2020 \nfrom 12:00 (noon) to 1:00 pm at Thompson - Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, \nPA.\n\nA Blessing Service will be held on Monday, November \n9, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home with Deacon \nMitch Natali, officiating.\n\nDue to Covid-19 State Guidelines, visitors are \nrequired to supply their own and to wear a facial \ncovering along with maintaining social distancing. \nGroups are limited to 25 people.
