Judy J. \nProtzman, 69 of Glen Burnie, MD, formerly of Butler \npassed away at her home on January 1, 2019.\n\nBorn on 1/11/1949 she was the daughter of James \nKeefer of West Sunbury and the late Ethel Jane \n(Gray) Keefer. Judy worked for The United Telephone \nCompany and Applied Test Systems in Butler before \nmoving to Glen Burnie, MD. Once in the Baltimore \narea, Judy worked as the receptionist and executive \nassistant to President Edward Pitts at the David \nEdward Ltd. furniture company of Baltimore, MD until \nher retirement.\n\nJudy was an avid reader and crossword puzzle solver. \nJudy collected cobalt blue Moderntone glassware and \nSun Rubber/Edward Mobley dolls and toys amassing \nover 100 pieces of the glassware and 300 pieces \ndolls and toys. She was also passionate about \nhonoring military veterans as well as actively \ndonating clothes and goods to local charities. \n\nJudy enjoyed traveling with her husband Ed to \nFlorida, to softball tournaments, large flea markets \nand yards sales, antique markets and historical \nsites. She found great joy in visiting with her \nchildren and spoiling her grandchildren with special \ngifts and packages from Grandma Judy at birthdays \nand during the holiday season.\n\nShe is survived by her husband, Edward P. Protzman \nJr.; two children Steven R. (Miranda) Massart, and \nNicole "Nikki" M. (Damien) Chapman; and \ngrandchildren, Stephanie Massart, Jackson "Jack" \nWolfe, Sawyer Massart, Lyra Massart and, Trixie \nChapman. She's also survived by her father, James \nKeefer and his wife Lill; and brothers, Mike (Holly) \nKeefer, and David (Theresa) Keefer.\n\nShe was proceeded in death by her mother, Ethel Jane \nKeefer.\n\nFriends will be received Monday, January 7, 2019 \nfrom 1 to 3 & 6 to 8 pm at Thompson-Miller Funeral \nHome, Inc., 124 E.
