John Donald \nSpeicher, 83, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away \non September 19, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Hospice \nat Concordia. \n\nHe was born October 28, 1938, in Butler, \nPennsylvania to the late Joseph E. Speicher and the \nlate Josephine Schultz Speicher. \n\nJohn worked as an Equipment Operator for Penn Dot, \nretiring in 2005, after 30 years of service. He was \na member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, \nSons of Italy, and Pennsylvania Sheriff's \nAssociation. John enjoyed playing Bingo. He had a \nlove for West Highland White Terriers, loved to \ntravel, and to eat at different Italian restaurants.\n\nJohn is survived by his wife, Linda Speicher, who he \nmarried on August 3, 1973; Marty Caldwell - his best \nfriend whom he thought of as a son; several nieces \nand nephews; and his favorite companion, Buddy - \nWest Highland White Terrier. \n\nIn addition to his parents, he is preceded in death \nby two sisters and five brothers.\n\nFriends will be received Friday, September 23, 2022, \nfrom 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. \nat Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East \nNorth Street Butler, PA with Rev.
