John Maxwell Ferguson,Jr. Obituary (1953 - 2023)

John Maxwell Ferguson, Jr, 69, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 8, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born May 26, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late John Maxwell Ferguson and the late Rayna Louise (Hertwig) Ferguson. John was a member of the Butler Book Club at the Butler Library. He enjoyed sports, animals, movies, reading and music. He is survived by his sister, Jeanette Nestor and her husband, Gary of Saxonburg, PA; and one nephew, Christopher Nestor, and a cousin, Thomas Hertwig and his wife Kaye. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001, with Pastor Merry Meloy, officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Orphans of the Storm Building Fund, 11878 PA-85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
