Joan B. \nKappeler, 93, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away \non Sunday, March 22, 2020 at her residence. \n\nShe was born January 9, 1927 in Butler, Pennsylvania \nto the late Jack Bowlus and Helen (Shoup) Edinger.\n\n\nJoan worked as a Secretary for Miller Shoe Store for \nmany years. \n\nShe was a member of North Street Christian Church. \nJoan enjoyed camping, needlepoint and cross \nstitching. She loved angels because she was an \nangel. Joan also loved to play bingo but most \nimportantly she loved life.\n\nJoan is survived by her brother Calvin (Mildred) M. \nEdinger of Butler, Pa along with many nieces and \nnephews.\n\nIn addition to her parents she was preceded in death \nby her husband, Robert Kappeler along with her two \nsisters, Madeline Klink and Susan Holko.\n\nThere will be no public viewing. Family and friends \nwill be invited to a memorial service to celebrate \nthe life of Joan at a later date. \n\nThompson - Miller Funeral Home, 124 East North St., \nButler, PA 16001 is assisting the family with the \narrangements.
