Homer M. Tack, Jr., 75, of \nButler, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 21, \n2022, at the Butler Memorial Hospital. \n\nHe was born September 14, 1946, in Butler, \nPennsylvania to the late Homer M. Tack Sr. and the \nlate Eleanora Garing Tack. \n\nHomer graduated from Butler Area High School in \n1964. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. \nHomer was self-employed and worked for Homer M. Tack \nExcavating Company. He also worked as an Inspector \nfor Gibson Thomas Engineering Co. out of Latrobe, PA \nretiring in 2013. Homer was a Veteran of the US Navy \nserving during Vietnam on the USS Power DD 839. He \nwas a member of the V.V.A. and the D.A.V. Homer \nenjoyed hunting and being with his grandchildren.\n\nHomer is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Coroian \nand her husband, William Brian of Chicora, PA; two \ngrandchildren, Chandler Tack, and Richard Greygor, \nIII; one brother, Newton Tack and his wife, Mary \nEllen of Butler, PA; and numerous nieces and \nnephews. \n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby his wife, Dianna Tack, who he married on June 7, \n1968, and who passed away on February 7, 2019; two \nbrothers, David Tack, and John Tack; one sister, \nEleanor Tack; and his in-laws, Perle and Nellie \nPowell.\n\nFriends will be received Monday, January 24, 2022, \n3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson - Miller Funeral \nHome, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Tuesday, January \n25, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Thompson-Miller \nFuneral Home Inc., 124 East North St. Butler, PA, \nwith Rev. Dennis R. Hindman, Sr., officiating.\n\nBurial will take place in the Hempfield Cemetery.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nto Troop D Camp Cadet, P.O.
