George \nDillich "Dickey" Brown, age 84 of Butler, passed \naway Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the Butler Memorial \nHospital. Dickey Brown has said goodnight, but he \nwill forever continue to live in the hearts of those \nwho loved him. In our hearts, forever remembered. In \nour hearts forever alive.\n\nDickey in his more daring days, enjoyed being on his \nmotorcycle loving the freedom of the open road. \nLater in life, Dickey became quite the bowler and \nhas since taught the game to many others, becoming a \nfamily of bowlers. He also enjoyed Golf.\n\nIn between the beginning and the end, Dickey had \nother hobbies, but his biggest interest was in \npeople. Having more friends than one man can count, \nDickey was always surrounded by great company. \nDickey was and always will be a terrific soul who \nloved to be around the people he loved and to party \non the porch.\n\nGeorge Dillich "Dickey" Brown was retired as a \nLumber Yard Foreman for Fagen's Lumber Company in \n2001. He started in the business working at Dillich \nLumber Company at an early age then later worked at \nBusy Beaver Lumber Company.\n\nSurviving is he wife Mary E. (Carrick) Brown, \nButler, PA; two daughters and two sons: Leslie \nLeFebvre and her husband Mark of Butler; Timothy \nBrown and his wife Val of Chicora; Tracy Maroff and \nher husband Simon of Ohio; Thomas Brown and his wife \nTheresa of Butler; seven grandchildren: Elizabeth \nLeFebvre, Jamie LeFebvre Hakeem, Jamie Walters, \nStefanie Martin, Amber Mitchell, Fletcher Brown and \nThomas Brown; four great grandchildren; one sister \nand two brothers: Sandy Rukavina of Ohio; Thomas \nBrown and wife Debbie of New Castle and Jerry Brown \nof Florida.\n\nGeorge was preceded in death by his parents, two \nsisters: Elise Richardson and Samantha Brown; one \nbrother: Elmer "Butch" Brown.\n\nFriends and family are invited to a visitation, \nThursday from 1-3 and 5-7 PM at the Thompson-Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA \n16001.\n\nA funeral service will be held Thursday at 7:00 PM \nwith Bill Wilson officiating.\nBurial will be private.\n\nGeorge Dillich "Dickey" Brown was more than just a \nperson, he was also a place, where so many of us \ncalled him home. Now he has been called home to \nheaven where so many have been waiting for him.
