Garnet T. Stephenson, 85, of \nHarrisville, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 2, \n2022, at the Autumn Grove Care Center. \n\nShe was born December 6, 1936, in Camden, New Jersey \nto the late Gilbert G. Henricks and the late Garnet \nT. Murphy. \n\nGarnet was a life member of St. Mark's Evangelical \nLutheran Church until moving to Tampa, FL in 1984. \nIn Tampa, she was a member of Messiah Lutheran \nChurch in Tampa until May of 1999. When Garnet moved \nback to Pennsylvania she went to St. Luke Lutheran \nChurch of Cabot, PA. Around 2005, Garnet started to \nattend All Saints Lutheran Church in Slippery Rock, \nPA. Garnet was a homemaker and was known for taking \ncare of her family and baking pies.\n\nGarnet is survived by her husband, M. Kenneth \nStephenson, who she married on September 3, 1959; \none daughter, Melanie Petridis of Slippery Rock, PA; \none son, Todd Stephenson of Slippery Rock, PA; two \ngrandsons, Alex Petridis, Kostas Petridis; one \nsister, Phyllis Sturgeon of Waterville, OH; and two \nnephews. \n\nIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in \ndeath by her son-in-law, George Petridis. \n\nBurial will take place in the North Side Cemetery.
