Frank D. Dietrich, 97, of \nRenfrew, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 11, 2019 \nat the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation. \n\nHe was born January 24, 1922 in Connoquenessing, \nPennsylvania to the late Frank T. Dietrich and the \nlate Margaret Anna Nicklas. \n\nHe worked for Armco as an Industrial Engineer \nretiring after 39 years. Frank was Army Air Corps \nserving in World War II as a Pilot of P-51's. He was \na member of Oneida Bow Hunters for several years. \nFrank loved hunting, fishing and especially golfing.\n\n\nFrank is survived by his wife June Audrey Moser \nDietrich, who he married on September 15, 1949; \nthree daughters, Janice (James) Brys of Warren, PA, \nCindy (John) Rowley of Slippery Rock, PA, Linda J. \n(Patrick) Schiebel of Slippery Rock, PA; nine \ngrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several \nnieces and nephews. \n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby one brother and two sisters.\n\nFriends will be received Wednesday, March 13, 2019, \n6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, \nInc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA. Following \nthe visitation a funeral will take place at 8:00 pm \nwith Pastor Fred Kison of The Intersection Community \nChurch, officiating. \n\nMilitary Honors will be provided by the Officers and \nMembers of the American Legion Post #117, Butler, \nAmerican Legion Post #778, Lyndora, and the VFW Post \n#249 of Butler following the funeral.\n\nPrivate burial will take place in the Butler County \nMemorial Park.
