Francis Edward "Frank" \nMalinski, 87, of Prospect, Pennsylvania, passed away \non July 13, 2022. \n\nHe was born August 7, 1934, in Butler, Pennsylvania \nto the late Peter Malinski and the late Anna Stadnyk \nMalinski.\n\nFrank served in the U.S. Army until retirement on \nAugust 7, 1994. He then went on to work as a service \nmanager for Gil Morrow and Mikan Automotive \nDealership, retiring in 1999. Frank was one of the \nCharter Members and Founders of Oneida Valley Fire \nCompany. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. \nFrank was a member of the following organizations: \nAARP, The Army Retired Enlisted Association, a Life \nMember of East Butler Volunteer Fire Company, \nPennsylvania Sheriffs Association, Butler County Law \nEnforcement, F.O.P. Brady Paul Lodge #54, Butler \nElks Lodge #170, Butler Moose Lodge #64, Slovak \nSokol Society of Lyndora, American Legion Post #117 \nButler, Life Member VFW Joseph Black Post #249, \nItalian Society of Butler, #272 Butler Lodge F & A \nM, Valley of New Castle Consistory, Syria Shriners \nA.A.O.N.M.S., and Caravan 14 of Butler.\n\nFrank is survived by his wife, Tracy (Fry) Malinski, \nwho he married on December 17, 1988; one daughter, \nMorgan Malinski of Butler, PA; and numerous nieces \nand nephews. \n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby four sisters and four brothers.\n\nFriends will be received Saturday, July 16, 2022, \n2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, \nInc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA with a \nfuneral service to follow at 5:00 pm, with Pastor \nBen Oesterling of Mount Zion Baptist Church, \nofficiating.\n\nOfficers and Member of the American Legion Post \n#117, American Legion Post #778, and VFW Post #249 \nwill conduct military services at 5:00 pm at the \nFuneral Home. \n\nThe family would like to give special thanks to AHN \nHospice Group.
