Elma L. Passarelli Hall, 73 of \nButler, passed away Jan 9th at the VNA Inpatient \nHospice, Butler. She was born in Butler on January \n21, 1945 to the late Constantine and Myrtle Rupert \nPassarelli. \n \n\nLiving in the Butler area her \nwhole life, Elma graduated from Butler High School \nin 1962 then attending Edinboro University studying \nart. She worked for the United Telephone Company and \nthe Butler Teachers Federal Credit Union. For many \nyears she also had regular childcare in her home.\n\n \n\nShe was a member of Hill \nUnited Presbyterian Church where she served as a \ndeacon. Elma was also an elder at Covenant United \nPresbyterian Church. In her free time, she enjoyed \ncooking, crafting, spending time with her family \nespecially her grandchildren. \n \n\nElma was preceded in death by \nher parents. She was survived by her husband of 49 \nyears Mark E. Hall of Butler; two sons Timothy G. \n(Amy) Hall of Columbus Ohio; Douglas S. (Kristy \nDavis) Hall of Butler; four grandchildren Avery, \nOlivia, Madyson and Kaydence; two sisters Marsha \n(Paul) Demeter of Zelienople; Alice (David) Steffler \nof Fombell; as well as several nieces and nephews.\n\n \n\nFriends will be welcomed by \nthe family on Saturday Jan 12th from 2:00 to 4:00 \nand 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Thompson-Miller Funeral \nHome, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler. \n \n\nA Memorial Service \ncommemorating Elma's life will be held on Sunday Jan \n13th at 3:30 at Hill United Presbyterian church with \nPastor Leigh Benish Officiating. Private burial at \nNorth Side Cemetery. \n \n\nIn Lieu of flowers, Elma's \nfamily requests donations be made to the Butler \nCounty Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd, Renfrew, \nPA 16053 or the Indiana County Humane Society, 191 \nAirport Rd, Indiana, PA 15701.
