Elma L. Passarelli Hall Obituary (1945

Elma L. Passarelli Hall, 73 of Butler, passed away Jan 9th at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler. She was born in Butler on January 21, 1945 to the late Constantine and Myrtle Rupert Passarelli. Living in the Butler area her whole life, Elma graduated from Butler High School in 1962 then attending Edinboro University studying art. She worked for the United Telephone Company and the Butler Teachers Federal Credit Union. For many years she also had regular childcare in her home. She was a member of Hill United Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon. Elma was also an elder at Covenant United Presbyterian Church. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, crafting, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Elma was preceded in death by her parents. She was survived by her husband of 49 years Mark E. Hall of Butler; two sons Timothy G. (Amy) Hall of Columbus Ohio; Douglas S. (Kristy Davis) Hall of Butler; four grandchildren Avery, Olivia, Madyson and Kaydence; two sisters Marsha (Paul) Demeter of Zelienople; Alice (David) Steffler of Fombell; as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends will be welcomed by the family on Saturday Jan 12th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler. A Memorial Service commemorating Elma's life will be held on Sunday Jan 13th at 3:30 at Hill United Presbyterian church with Pastor Leigh Benish Officiating. Private burial at North Side Cemetery.
