Eleanor \nWalchesky, 88, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed \naway on September 5, 2019 at the Good Samaritan \nHospice, Cabot, PA. \n\nShe was born October 22, 1930 in Pittsburgh, \nPennsylvania to the late Jacob Bronder and Mary \nJane (Jaap) Bronder. \n\nEleanor worked as a Homemaker and had a very \nactive church life. She was a former volunteer \nfor the Butler Auxiliary and was involved in \nmany groups, activities and enjoyed playing \ncards with the "South Butler Card Club".\n\nEleanor is survived by her two sons, William \n(Lucy) Walchesky, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL. and \nJohn (Gail) C. Walchesky of Butler, PA; one \ndaughter, Connie (Don) Swartzfeger of Butler, \nPA.; one sister Jennie Winters. Also, 6 \nGrandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and \nnumerous nieces and nephews.\n\nIn addition to her parents she was preceded in \ndeath by her husband, William "Ray" R. Walchesky \nwhom she married December 4, 1947; one sister, \nand seven brothers.\n\nThere will not be a public viewing. A private \nviewing and graveside service will be held by \nthe family.\n\nBurial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial \nEstates.\n\nDonations made be made in Eleanor's memory to \nthe Covenant Community Dinner or the Covenant \nCommunity Cupboard, 230 E. Jefferson St., \nButler, PA 16001.
