Douglas \n"Doug" Alan Koehring, 64, of Butler, Pennsylvania, \npassed away on October 3, 2018 at the Good Samaritan \nHospice surrounded by his loving family. \n\nHe was born November 10, 1953 in Milwaukee, \nWisconsin to the late Philip A. Koehring and Donna \nHerman Koehring. \n\nDoug graduated from Point Park College with a \nBachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. He \nwas a Senior Data Analyst for Penreco from 1972 \nuntil 2008 and was then employed by Monark Student \nTransportation from 2010-2015. Doug's commitment to \nhis family as a loving and devoted husband, father, \nPapa, and brother is the role he treasured most in \nhis life. Doug enjoyed shooting sports, hiking, \nbackpacking, camping, reading historical novels, and \nwas an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He has had \nseveral special pets that have enriched his life \nwith their constant companionship: Cockie, Freckles, \nMaggie, and Ziva.\n\nDoug is survived by his wife Cynthia McBride \nKoehring, who he married on May 1, 1982; one \ndaughter, Danielle (Lewitt) Koehring Beyale of \nColorado Springs, CO; two sons, Devin A. (Dana) \nKoehring of Murrysville, PA, Spencer A. Koehring of \nWashington, D.C.; one grandchild, Avanee Harper \nBeyale and a Baby Girl Beyale who is expected in \nJanuary 2019; two brothers, Philip A. (Mary) \nKoehring of Boulder Creek, CA, John R. (Peggy) \nKoehring of Scottsdale, AZ; one niece, Sara A.
