Douglas "Doug" Wayne Fennell, \n67, of Chicora, Pennsylvania, passed away on \nFebruary 15, 2020 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.\n\n\nHe was born June 23, 1952 in Butler, Pennsylvania to \nthe late Ervin "Tub" Fennell and the late Thelma \nStroup Fennell. \n\nDoug worked at Indspec Chemical Corp. for 32 years, \nretiring in 2002. He was a member of the Chicora \nUnited Methodist Church. Doug was a member of Loyal \nOrder of Moose #962 of Chicora. He enjoyed golfing, \nhunting, and fishing. Doug liked to go for rides in \nthe country but most of all he loved to spend time \nwith his grandchildren. \n\nDoug is survived by his wife, Pam Fennell, who he \nmarried on November 3, 1972; two daughters, Meredith \nFennell (Larry) Deal of Butler, PA, Megan (Carl) \nMoore of Salisbury, NC; four grandchildren, Rhyan \nDeal, Maddox Moore, Hayden Deal, Mavrick Moore; one \nsister, Kim (Doug) Hackbarth of Bruin, PA, and a \nnumber of nieces and nephews. \n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby one sister, Judy Gibson, and one brother, Eddie \nFennell.\n\nThe family would like to thank the Butler Memorial \nHospital Doctors, Nurses, and Staff, for their \nkindness and compassion. \n\nA memorial service will be held on Wednesday, \nFebruary 19, 2020, 11:00 am at the St. Mark's \nEvangelical Lutheran Church, 201 West Jefferson St. \nButler, PA, with Pastor James Neal, S.T.S., and \nPastor Jim Lewis, officiating.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nto Butler Caring Angel's, BHS Foundation, One \nHospital Way, Butler, PA 16001.
