Doris Jean Morgan, 90, of \nButler, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 23, 2021 \nat the Allegheny General Hospital. \n\nShe was born June 28, 1931, in Butler, Pennsylvania \nto the late Austin Vensel and the late Della Double \nVensel. \n\nMrs. Morgan graduated from Karns City High School in \n1949 and then went on to Butler Hospital School of \nNursing graduating in 1952 as a Registered Nurse. \nShe worked as a Registered Nurse for Butler Memorial \nHospital. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the First \nUnited Methodist and the Nurses Alumni of Butler \nHospital. She enjoyed volunteering for \nMeals-On-Wheels. \n\nMrs. Morgan is survived by her one son, David Morgan \nof Butler, PA; and one grandchild, Brady Morgan. \n\nIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in \ndeath by her husband, Daniel R. Morgan, who she \nmarried on August 22, 1952, and who passed away \nSeptember 12, 1998; one son, Robert Morgan; one \nsister, Mary Burns; one brother, Howard Vensel.\n\nFriends will be received Thursday, July 29, 2021, \nfrom 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Thompson - Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, \nPA.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, \n2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist \nChurch, 200 East North Street, Butler, PA, with \nPastor Tom Holman , officiating.\n\nBurial will take place in the Mount Chestnut \nCemetery.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nto First United Methodist Church, 200 East North St, \nButler, PA 16001.
