Donna R. Kriess Hobaugh, \n87, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on August \n8, 2019 at Newhaven Court at Clearview. \n\nShe was born February 15, 1932 in Butler, \nPennsylvania to the late George Kriess and the late \nFlorence Phillips. \n\nDonna worked at Western Southern Beltone Hearing \nAide and RotoBlast as a secretary retiring after 10 \nyears. Donna was an active member of Covenant \nPresbyterian Church where she served as a deacon and \nas an elder, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday \nSchool. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother. Donna \nchaperoned Record Hops at Oakland Twp PTA. She \nvolunteered for Meals on Wheels. Donna enjoyed \ncamping and was a dedicated to her family. \n\nDonna is survived by her two sons, Keith (Denise) \nHobaugh of Karns City, PA, Dale (Beverly) Hobaugh of \nButler, PA; six grandchildren, Michelle Froilan, \nAdam Hobaugh, Amber Warba, Stacey Dunbar, Aaron \nHobaugh; twelve great-grandchildren and one \ngreat-great-granddaughter.\n\nIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in \ndeath by her husband, Richard Hobaugh, who she \nmarried on June 8, 1951 and who passed away on April \n17, 2001; one son, Richard Hobaugh, four sisters, \nGrace Gould, Mary Going, Esther Kriess, Betty \nSimons; and two brothers, Fred Kriess and Ken Kriess.\n\nFriends will be received on Monday, August 12, 2019 \nfrom 10 am until time of service at 12pm (noon) at \nThompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North \nStreet Butler, PA with Retired Presbyterian Minster, \nBob Mathias, officiating.\n\nPrivate Burial will take place in the Bear Creek \nCemetery.\n\nMemorials are suggested to the Covenant Presbyterian \nChurch, 230 E.
