Donald L. \nMatteoni, 75 of Butler, passed away on April 29, \n2019 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. \nBorn May 11, \n1943 in Butler, to the late Rene E. Matteoni and the \nlate Amelia M. Larrapino Matteoni.\nDon served in \nthe United States Army during the Korean Conflict. \nAfter several different jobs, Don retired in 2005 \nfrom Creekside Mushrooms, Worthington, as the \nmaintenance supervisor. \nDon was a \nloving husband to Ann. In his free time he was an \navid golfer, enjoyed boating, fishing for Walleye \nand he loved to care for his Sheltie, Jamie. He was \nalso well known for his meticulous well-manicured \nlawn. \nSurviving to cherish his memory is his loving wife \nof 40 years Ann R. (Galentine) Matteoni; Daughter \nKimberly A. (Joseph) Greco of Prospect; Daughter \nLori L. Kress of Ohio; Daughter Jill R. Fulkerson of \nWashington; Son Scott D. (Jane) Dombart of Ohio; \nnine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.\nAt Donald's request all services were private and \nhave been entrusted to the care of the \nThompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North \nStreet, Butler PA, 16001.
