Donald F. \n"Goose" Gaiser, 88, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed \naway on March 16, 2021 at the West Penn Hospital.\n\n\nHe was born February 14, 1933 in Butler, \nPennsylvania to the late Floyd A. Gaiser and the \nlate Mabel (Miller) Gaiser. \n\nDonald worked as a ladle crane operator at Armco \nretiring in 1993 after 41 years. He was very active \nin the Meridian Fire Departments. Donald was a \nmember of the Butler Victory Lodge #272 F & A M and \nseveral country music associations. He loved to \ndance and travel where he visited all 50 states and \nevery National Parks in the United States. Donald \nwas a master wood worker specializing in cutting out \nChristmas displays. He was a boy scout leader \nresponsible for the canoeing trips for 6 years. \nDonald was a member of St. Marks Evangelical \nLutheran Church where he served as an usher.\n\nHe is survived by his second wife, Alma Atkison who \nhe married March 17, 2018; two sons, Donald P. \nGaiser of Prospect, PA, and Kenneth R. (Linda) \nGaiser of Beaver, PA; two daughters, Susan (Vince) \nCummings of Claxton, GA, and Drusilla Sisson of \nButler, PA; , six grandchildren; seven great \ngrandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; six \nstep children, seventeen step grandchildren; and \nseven step great great grandchildren; one brother, \nCharles Gaiser of Verona, PA; one sister Louise \nOsselborn of Oakmont, PA; and numerous nieces and \nnephews. \n\nIn addition to his parents, he was preceded in death \nby his first wife, Nancy L. (Kearns) Gaiser, one \ndaughter, Marilyn Krick; two grandsons and one \nsister, Coralee Cranmer.\n\nFriends will be received at Thompson - Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, \nPA. Friday, March 19, 2021 from 2 to4 and 6 to 8 \np.m.\n\nOfficers and Members of the Butler Victory Lodge \n#272 F. & A. M. will meet at the funeral home at \n6:45 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 to conduct \nMasonic Services.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, \n2021 at 11:00 am. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home \nInc., 124 East North St. Butler, PA, with, Pastor \nDavid Phillips officiating.\n\nBurial will take place in the Butler County Memorial \nPark.\n\nMemorials are suggested to St. Marks Evangelical \nLutheran Church, 201 West Jefferson Street, Butler, \nPA 16001.\n\nDue to Covid-19 State Guidelines, visitors are \nrequired to supply their own and to wear a facial \nmasks and adhere to social distancing. Groups are \nlimited to 50 people inside.
