David Lee "Hawkeye" Krason, \n73, passed away on Sunday, February 27, at Sunnyview \nNursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler, PA.\n\nDavid was born on October 26, 1948, to the late \nWalter and Ann (Ochaba) Krason.\n\nHe graduated from Butler high school in 1966. He was \na disabled veteran of the U.S Army, having served in \nthe Vietnam War. David was a retired Veterans' Rep. \nat Career Link in Butler. He was also employed as a \npainter at the VA hospital in Butler. In addition, \nhe ran Professional Wallcoverings, his own painting \nand wallpapering business. In his spare time, David \nwas an avid golfer who believed in living life to \nthe fullest.\n\nHe is survived by his daughter, Beth (Krason) \nLeasher and her husband, Nathan of Harmony, PA; four \ngrandchildren; Lumen, River, Nova and Paxton also of \nHarmony; two brothers and a sister, Robert "Bob" \nKrason and his wife, Kathy of Meridian, PA; Walter "Puncho" \nKrason and his wife, Joyce of Valencia, PA; Theresa \n"Terri" (Krason) Markle and her husband, Charlie of \nSlippery Rock, PA. \n\nHe was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, \nPatricia "Trish" (Weigle) Krason and a grandson, \nRider Aaron Crawford. \n\nThere will be no public visitation. \n\nServices will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022, at \n10:30 am at First United Methodist Church, 200 East \nNorth Street, Butler, PA, with Rev. Tom Holman, \nofficiating. \n\nMemorial contributions may be made in memory of \nDavid to The Ronald McDonald House or The Highmark \nCaring Place.\n\nArrangements were entrusted to Thompson-Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, \nPA.
