David R. \nHeddaeus, 78, of Penn Twp., passed away on Friday, \nOctober 28, 2022, at his home with his family by his \nside. \n\nBorn July 5, 1944, in Austin, TX, he was the son of \nthe late Raymond L. and Emma L. (Miller) Heddaeus.\n\n\nDavid was a graduate of North Allegheny High School \nand went on to attend Penn State University where he \nearned his degree in Electrical Engineering and then \nattended the University of Pittsburgh where he \nearned his MBA. He worked as an electrical engineer \n/ president for Cross Electronics for many years. \nDavid was a member of the Butler Old Stone House Car \nClub, the Early Ford V-8 Club of America and the \nHarmony Moose Lodge. He also enjoyed classic cars \nand bowling.\n\nDavid is survived by his wife, Betty (Lockard) \nHeddaeus, whom he married on Sept 28, 1991, one son, \nMark (Ped) Heddaeus of Greensboro, NC; one daughter, \nKaren Heddaeus of Jamestown, NC; one step-son, Jason \nParks of Butler; one step-daughter, Michelle (Todd) \nEvans of Trenton, OH, three brothers, William \n(Diane) Heddaeus of Honolulu, HI, Thomas Heddaeus of \nHonolulu, HI, and Paul (Jan) Heddaeus of Napoleon, \nOH; seven grandchildren and two nieces.\n\nIn addition to his parents, David was preceded in \ndeath by his sister-in-law, Diane Heddaeus. \n\nAll are invited to attend a visitation for David on \nThursday, November 3, 2022, from 12-3 PM at \nThompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North \nSt., Butler, PA 16001 where a funeral service will \nfollow immediately at 3:00 PM with Matt Bupp \nofficiating.\n\nBurial will be held at Mt. Royal Cemetery.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made \nin David's honor to AHN Healthcare at Home, 500 \nCommonwealth Dr., Wexford, PA 15086.
