Charlene J. Richey, 76, of \nButler, entered into eternal rest on January 5, \n2021.\n\nShe was born Charlene J. Thomas on July 27, 1944, \ndaughter of the late Charles R. and Betty J. Thomas.\n\nShe was a member of Faith Fellowship Alliance Church \nin Butler.\n\nCharlene married Herbert N. Richey on June 7, 1962. \nThey had two daughters to whom she dedicated much \nlove and time, being very involved in their school \nand family activities.\n\nCharlene cared for the elderly for many years as she \nmanaged the Betty J. Thomas Personal Care Home.\n\nIn later years she enjoyed scrapbooking and \ncrocheting small items to bring a smile to those \naround her. She loved visiting and playing games \nwith her grandchildren.\n\nCharlene was preceded in death by her husband \nHerbert Richey.\n\nSurviving are two daughters. She will be sadly \nmissed by her children and grandchildren: Beth \n(Richey) and Steve Bash and their children Braeden, \nCamden, and Lauren Bash; and Michele (Richey) and \nSeth Olivieri and their children Johanna, Marah, \nAdam, and Eli Olivieri. \n\nThough we will miss our mother and grandmother, we \ndo not mourn as those without hope. "For if we \nbelieve that Jesus died and rose again, even so God \nwill bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in \nJesus." I Thessalonians 4:14 \n\nThere will be no public visitation.\n\nPrivate funeral service will take place at the \nconvenience of the family. \n\nBurial will be in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.\n\nArrangements are being entrusted to Thompson-Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, \nPA 16001.
