Buddy D. \n"Bud" Schoch, 79, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed \naway on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Butler VA \nCommunity Living Center, Butler, PA. \n\nBuddy was born September 14, 1941 in Oil City, PA to \nthe late Dwight Schoch and Mary Louise (Scannell) \nSchoch. \n\nHe worked for the CIA in Athens, Greece and later \nbecame a Salesman for Luebbe Sales, retiring in \n2003. \n\nBuddy enjoyed playing football and golf.\n\nHe is survived by his loving spouse, Donna "Lynn" \nSchoch, who he married on April 19, 1975: one son, \nJeffrey D. Schoch of Corona, CA; one grandchild, \nJake A. Schoch of Corona, CA; one sister-in-law, \nDeborah Schoch of Guys Mills, PA; one niece, Lisa \nVelozquez of Newville, PA; one great niece, Chrissy \nM. Ford of Pittsburgh, PA; four nephews, Curt Ford \nof Pittsburgh, PA, Josh Ford of Athens, OH, Art \nHollabaugh of Cochranton, PA, and Jason Hollabaugh \nof Guys Mills, PA.\n\nIn addition to his parents he was preceded in death \nby his brothers, Alvin E. Schoch and Lenwood D. \nSchoch along with his sister, Ada Jane Smith.\n\nFriends will be received at Thompson - Miller \nFuneral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, \nPA. on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to \n4:00 p.m and 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at \n7:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Edmundson, officiating.\n\nMilitary Honors will be provided by the Officers and \nMembers of the American Legion Post #117 of Butler, \nAmerican Legion Post #778 of Lyndora, and the VFW \nPost #249 of Butler following the funeral.\n\nMemorials donations may be made to the American \nCancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA \n15205. \n\nDue to Covid-19 State Guidelines, visitors are \nrequired to supply their own and to wear a facial \ncovering along with maintaining social distancing. \nGroups are limited to 25 people.
